It amazes me how the Bible is always applicable. It never expires. Written thousands of years ago, still applicable.
Why and how is arguable, but it comes down to: human nature never changes.
We’re all unique. Lifestyles and cultures change. But basic human needs and nature never changes. We’re all alike, but different somehow.
Simple, yet profound. Or is it profound, yet simple? Either way.
If someone wants to hear from God, read their Bible. It’s that simple. It’s not magic. It may feel magical, when the profoundness hits, but it’s “just God.”
Sounds silly from a human perspective. Sounds ridiculous. The Bible even tells us that. It will sound like foolishness to the non-believer (1 Cor 1:18).
